Roxio conflict windows media player

Posted January 28, Well put, let me add that this condition happened to me on 2 computers running XP pro with SDP2 while using the retail cd. The condition starts right after installation of EDMC 8 and continues after the 8.

On one computer I reinstalled SP2 and the condition is still there. Let us know how it goes for you. I'm not looking to do Roxio Sonics work for them. WMP mpg, mpeg played fine and automatically when a link was clicked.

I have purchase CD's from them and the first thing i do is to "rip" the disc to my external drive. Every CD I have tried after that has the same vanishing act appear for each CD 10 different brand new ones.

I feel that something is causing a conflict but what and where and how to resolve the conflict is beyond me. Was this reply helpful?
